The Indian women’s ODI and T20 teams for the Bangladesh series were announced on 2 July. India women’s team and Bangladesh women’s team will play three T20 matches and three ODIs between July 9 and July 22. Renuka Singh, Richa Ghosh, Rajeshwari Gaikwad, Radha Singh and Shikha Pandey have not been included in this tour. At the same time, Indian selectors have also included Indian faces.

Rashi first started her cricket career as a left-arm fast bowler, later she switched to left-arm spin when she joined Manya Cricket Academy in Agra. Manoj Kushwaha used to give training to Rashi. Manoj Kushwaha is the coach who has already given great players like Deepti Sharma and Poonam Yadav to the Indian women’s cricket team. Last year, Rashi’s performance in domestic cricket was excellent. Playing for Central Zone in the Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T20 Trophy 2022-23, Rashi was the joint-highest wicket-taker with 10 wickets.
Minnu Mani: Minnu Mani is 24 years old and belongs to Kerala. Minnu is a left-handed batsman and right-arm off-spinner.
At the age of 10, Minnu started playing cricket with the boys in her neighbourhood. By the time she was 16, she made it to the Kerala state team. Minnu used to travel 84 km every day to go to practice. Minnu has always been an important link for the Kerala team.
2023 has been a special year for Minnu so far. The all-rounder starred in the Senior Women’s ODI Trophy earlier this year, scoring 246 runs at an average of 41 and taking 12 wickets at an average of 16.75 and an economy of 3.79. Due to her good performance in domestic cricket, she became the first player from the state to be selected in the inaugural season of WPL. Not only this but now she is the first female player from Kerala to get a place in the Indian team. Apart from this, she also represented India in the 2019 Emerging Teams Asia Cup.

Uma Chhetri: Uma is a 20-year-old cricketer from the Golaghat district of Assam, who has created history by making it to the Indian team from Assam. She started playing cricket at a very young age.
Her mother got her her first bat at the age of three. Around 2011, she came to the notice of Ajoy Sarma, the treasurer of the Golaghat District Sports Association. Knowing that Uma had enough potential, Sarma forwarded her name and soon Uma came under the radar of the Assam Cricket Association.
In 2017, she became a part of the Assam state team. Last domestic season, she scored 194 runs in six one-dayers at an average of 32.33, while she had 120 runs in five T20 innings at a strike rate of 88.88. Uma was part of the India A team that recently won the Emerging Women’s T20 Asia Cup. Uma played two matches in this tournament, playing an important role with the bat. She scored a useful 38 runs ( 16* & 22 ), took 2 catches and made 2 stumpings.
Anusha Bareddy: Bareddy is a 20-year-old cricketer from Andhra. She is a left-handed batsman and left-arm spinner. Since 2014 she is taking training at Anantapur RDT Academy. Last domestic season, she took six wickets in eight T20s at an economy of 4.33 and 12 wickets at an economy of 2.59 in six List A matches, including a five-wicket haul. She was the highest wicket-taker for her state in the senior women’s one-day trophy. Recently she was also a member of India A in the Emerging Women’s T20 Asia Cup held in Hong Kong.
