World Cup 2023: Team India has been selected for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 to be hosted by India starting from 5 October. Although the team has not yet been officially announced by the BCCI, it is being said that the selectors have selected 15 players for the World Cup 2023 after the India-Pakistan match and the official announcement of the team can be made on Sunday.

According to the Express report, the senior selection committee of BCCI finalized the names of 15 players for the World Cup late on Saturday night. Sanju Samson has not got a place in this team, while KL Rahul remains in the team. Apart from Sanju, the famous Krishna and Tilak Verma have been dropped from this team. The rest of the team is the same which is currently playing the Asia Cup.

Let us tell you that the chairman of the selection committee, Ajit Agarkar, and Indian captain Rohit Sharma while announcing the team for the Asia Cup, had indicated that out of the 18 players selected for the Asia Cup, 15 players would be selected for the World Cup. KL Rahul gets the green signal from NCA
According to the information, KL Rahul has got the green signal from NCA, after which the selection committee did not delay in finalizing the team. KL Rahul is still in NCA. He has not gone with the team for the Asia Cup, but now KL Rahul will join the team in the Super 4 round of the Asia Cup. KL Rahul has also practiced batting for many hours in NCA. BCCI has to announce the World Cup team by September 5.
