In the third and final T20 match against Afghanistan at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday, January 17, Rinku Singh once again won everyone’s hearts with his brilliant batting performance for India.

In the third and final T20I against Afghanistan, left-handed batsman Rinku Singh was brilliant by scoring 69 off 39 balls at an impressive strike rate of 176.92. Rinku’s brilliant knock included six sixes and two fours, and he hit three consecutive sixes off Karim Janat in the 20th over, taking India’s score to over 200.

When the team was struggling at 22/4, Rinku Singh came to the crease and played a crucial role for India.
He shared an unbeaten 190-run partnership with India captain Rohit Sharma. This is Rinku’s second half-century for the Men in Blue, highlighting his resilience and batting skills in challenging conditions.

In the opening two T20Is against Afghanistan, Rinku Singh registered unbeaten scores of 16 and 9.
However, he showcased his skills with remarkable performances in South Africa, where he completed his maiden half-century in the first T20I with an unbeaten 68 off 39 balls and saved India from a challenging situation.

The 26-year-old maintained a consistent performance during the home T20 series against Australia, scoring a total of 105 runs in four innings.

Regarding the ongoing game, Rohit Sharma and Rinku Singh’s brilliant batting performances took India to a strong score of 212/4 against Afghanistan in the third T20I. Rohit Sharma played a brilliant inning of 121 runs off 69 balls with the help of eight sixes and 11 fours. The century marked Rohit’s record fifth T20I century and return to form after two consecutive zeros in the first game.

Despite Kohli and Samson getting out early on golden ducks, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube contributed 4 and 1 runs respectively. Afghanistan’s Farid Ahmed shone with figures of 3/20, while Azmatullah Umarzai took one wicket. India has already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series with the previous win.
