IND vs AUS: India vs Australia Playing 11, World Cup 2023 Final: If the Ahmedabad wicket is helpful for the spinners, then India can play Ashwin because Australia has 2 left-handed batsmen in the top order.

Ind vs Aus World Cup Final 2023 Predicted Playing 11: Less than 3 hours are left for the final of the World Cup 2023 to be held between India and Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday (19 November). Just two days before the final, the Indian team management left doubts in the minds of the Australian cricket team and fans when Ravichandran Ashwin was seen practicing.

At that time, the fast trio of Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and Jasprit Bumrah was missing from the net session. That was an optional training session. Only a few players were present along with coach Rahul Dravid and his support staff. Rohit Sharma has not made any changes in his playing 11 for the last 6 matches.

When Hardik Pandya was out of the tournament due to injury, there was a lot of discussion about the playing 11. However, India’s backup plan worked well. There is only one change in the minds of the fans and that is Ravichandran Ashwin in place of Mohammed Siraj. Ashwin can also bat. Siraj’s recent form has increased this doubt. However, changing a lineup that has been unbeaten for the last 6 matches is not an easy task.

Australia also hardly makes any changes in its playing eleven. Both teams are expected to play with the same combination that helped them win their respective semi-final matches. If the Ahmedabad wicket is helpful for the spinners, then India’s playing eleven can include Ashwin, because Australia has two left-handed batsmen in the top-order.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma kept the decision on India playing 11 against Australia open on the eve of the match itself. In the press conference before the match, Rohit said that the final 11 has not been decided yet and any of the 15 players can be a part of the eleven. In that situation, Ashwin will probably replace Mohammed Siraj in India’s playing 11.

The same applies to the Australian combination. If the Ahmedabad wicket is not expected to be favorable for spinners, then Marcus Stoinis or Cameron Green may get a place in Australia’s playing 11. In that situation, Marnus Labuschagne may have to sit out for Stoinis or Green.
