Ind vs Pak World Cup 2023 Tickets: The sale of tickets for the ICC World Cup 2023 has started. The match between India and Pakistan in the World Cup 2023 is to be played on 14 October at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. There is always a different passion among the fans regarding the match between India and Pakistan.

This time since the World Cup is being held in India, every Indian fan wants to hoist the tricolor in the stadium against Pakistan. Perhaps this is the reason why there is a different enthusiasm among the fans regarding the India-Pakistan match. A hallmark of this was seen when the first batch of tickets for the India-Pakistan match was sold out within an hour.

BookMyShow, the ticketing partner of the International Cricket Council (ICC), had put the tickets for the India-Pakistan match up for sale online. The second batch of tickets for this match between India and Pakistan will be put on sale on September 3. Possibilities are high that these tickets will also be sold out within a few hours of its starting.

It is not confirmed how many tickets were put on online sale for India matches and warm-up matches but it is learned that the sale started at 6 PM IST on 29 August 2023 and all tickets were sold out within an hour.

Tickets were sold only to Mastercard holders

News agency PTI quoted sources related to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), ‘Tickets for the India-Pakistan match were put on sale on August 29 only for fans who have MasterCard. A person could buy only two tickets and all the tickets for the India-Pakistan match were sold out within an hour of the start of the sale. September 3rd will likely be held for the next batch of ticket sales.

BookMyShow has been criticized on social media

Meanwhile, ICC’s ticketing partner BookMyShow has been criticized on social media by cricket fans for poor service. If reports are to be believed, within minutes of the ticket sale going live, BookMyShow’s website crashed. Even after this, fans were shown standing in virtual queues. A few seconds must have passed and the waiting time increased rapidly. The BookMyShow website asked fans to wait patiently for over 6 hours, while all tickets were sold out within an hour.
