IND vs SA: Batsman Sanju Samson scored the first century of his international career in the last match of the three-match ODI series between India and South Africa. Right-handed batsman Samson was out after scoring 108 runs off 114 balls.

IND vs SA: The Indian team’s star batsman Sanju Samson scored a century in the third ODI against South Africa. This is the first century of his international career. Sanju Samson did not get a chance to bat in the first match against South Africa. In the second ODI match, he was out for just 12 runs. But in the third match, when he was sent to bat at number three, he made no mistake and faced the Proteas bowlers fiercely on a very slow pitch and scored the first century of his ODI cricket career.

Sanju Samson made his international debut for India in 2015 but he got a chance to play ODI in 2021. After this, Sanju Samson did not get continuous opportunities. Due to this, his figures are not much better than other batsmen. However, whenever Samson has got opportunities, he has played good innings.

Sanju Samson completed his hundred in 110 balls in the 44th over of the Indian innings. His previous best score in ODI was 86 runs against South Africa. Since his ODI debut in 2021, Sanju has played only 16 matches in this format.

With the help of Sanju Samson’s century, India scored 296 runs for eight wickets on Thursday in the third and last one-day cricket match against South Africa. For the Indian team sent to bat first, Samson scored 108 runs in 114 balls while Tilak Verma played an inning of 52 runs. For South Africa, Buran Hendricks took three wickets and Nandre Berger took two wickets.

Rajat Patidar has made his ODI debut from India. He has been included in the playing eleven in place of the injured Rituraj Gaikwad. Kuldeep Yadav has been rested and Washington Sundar has been replaced in the team. South Africa has not made any changes in its team that won the second match. The three-match series is currently tied at 1-1.

Sanju Samson played a brilliant inning of 108 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 6 fours in 114 balls against South Africa in the third ODI. Batting at number three in this match, he has scored a brilliant century. After this century, he became the second Indian batsman to score a century while batting at number three against South Africa. Earlier, Virat Kohli had done the amazing feat of scoring a century for India against South Africa while batting at number three in ODI on South African soil. Kohli has done this thrice while Sanju Samson has done this for the first time.
