IND vs SA Test: The first test match is taking place between South Africa vs India, which is on its second day, and in this match, KL Rahul created history by scoring a century.

IND vs SA Test: The first match of the two-match Test series between India and South Africa is being played from Tuesday (26 December) at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. The second day’s play started with a delay of about 25 minutes due to rain. Today i.e. Wednesday, 27th December is the second day of this ongoing match in Centurion and the second day’s play has started. India has started playing at 208/8.

On the second day, India started playing ahead with 208 runs for eight wickets. Till the end of yesterday’s day, KL Rahul was the only batsman who had single-handedly managed the Indian innings. KL Rahul and Mohammad Siraj brought the score to 238 runs. Siraj was dismissed after scoring five runs and then KL Rahul completed his century with a six.

This inning of KL Rahul will be recorded in golden letters in the pages of history, Because the way he has played this inning under pressure, shows what level of batsman KL Rahul is. KL Rahul became the victim of Nandre Berger after scoring 101 runs and the Indian team thus got all out for 245 runs.

KL Rahul made a comeback with a century in One Day International and then he did the same in Test cricket too. KL Rahul, who returned not out on 70 runs on the first day of the match, completed his century on the second day. KL Rahul has become the first visiting batsman to score two centuries on this ground in South Africa. KL Rahul had also scored a century on the same ground during the 2021-22 tour.

Then KL Rahul played a fighting inning of 123 runs. At that time KL Rahul did not play as a wicketkeeper-batsman and scored that century as a pure batsman. KL Rahul has also joined the elite list of Indian wicketkeepers who have scored centuries outside Asia.

Rishabh Pant tops this list with four centuries, while KL Rahul has equaled Vijay Manjrekar, Ajay Ratra, and Wriddhiman Saha in this matter.

Vijay Manjrekar, Ajay Ratra, and Wriddhiman Saha also have only one century each in their names outside Asia. Apart from this, the name of KL Rahul has also been added among the Asian batsmen who have scored more than one century in South Africa. Sachin Tendulkar is the Asian batsman who has scored the most centuries in South Africa. Tendulkar has scored five centuries.

After this, the names of Azhar Mahmood, Tilak Samaraweera, and Virat Kohli as well as KL Rahul have also been added.

This was KL Rahul’s 17th century in international cricket, out of which he has scored only four centuries in his home country, while he has scored the remaining 13 international centuries outside India. It is based on this inning of KL Rahul that Team India has scored 245 runs in the first innings. This inning will be remembered for a long time.

KL Rahul was clean bowled on the ball of Nandre Burger and thus the Indian team was all out for 245 runs in the first innings. At one time, it seemed difficult for the Indian team to reach 200 runs, but KL Rahul’s innings took the team’s score to this point.
