AU-W vs IND-W: Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian women’s cricket team suffered a clean sweep at the hands of Australia in the three-match ODI series. India lost the third ODI on Tuesday by 190 runs. At the same time, India lost the first match by 6 wickets while in the second match, it lost by 3 runs.

After the crushing defeat in the series, captain Harmanpreet is in pain regarding fielding. She said that fielding is something that is troubling us.

Let us tell you that in the last match, Australia scored a huge score of 338/7 and the Indian team collapsed for 148 runs.

Harmanpreet said after the series ended, “I think the ODI series was not good. We tried our best. Some performances were very good but some of us need to think about how we can do better. When we are playing with the red ball (Test cricket), we have a lot of time to think and execute.

But in the white ball, you don’t have that kind of time. We have been working hard and now we need to concentrate on T20 and learn some positive things from this series.”

The captain further said, “Young players Shreyanka Patil and others are performing well. This is one of the positives. We always discuss Australian fielding because, in terms of skill, we believe we are close.

We want to do well in the field because that is something that is troubling us now. We need to do this better in the coming matches.

It is noteworthy that a three-match T20 series will be played between India and Australia from January 5. Three matches will be held on Navi Mumbai grounds.
