In the India vs England Test, Joe Root has become the highest run-scorer leaving behind the great Sachin Tendulkar. Joe Root has scored 2555 runs in 26 matches in the Test match against India.

The first match of the five-match Test series between India and England is being played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. England’s star batsman Joe Root became the highest run-scorer in India-England Test matches, surpassing the great Sachin Tendulkar during the Hyderabad Test on Thursday.

Joe Root needed just 10 runs in Hyderabad to break Sachin’s record. Root achieved this feat by hitting a four in the 21st over of England’s first innings.

Joe Root had scored 2526 runs in 25 matches against India before this match. During this period, his average was 63.15. Against India, he has scored nine centuries and 10 half-centuries. He adapts to the Indian conditions quickly. Joe Root scored 29 runs in 60 balls in the first innings. Ravindra Jadeja made him his victim.
