Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will play test cricket after a long time. The duo will compete against South Africa in the upcoming two-match Test series in the island nation. They both shared their view on the Test Cricket which aired by Star Sports network on their Twitter Handle.
“Test cricket is a very special format and you want to be challenged across all five days. To win a test match you have to be at your best all five days. It’s a test of everything you are as a person and a cricketer,” Rohit Sharma said on Star Sports.
“Test cricket is the foundation of the sport. For me, it is history, culture, and heritage. Playing long innings for my team to win a Test match is the most special feeling for me. Playing in white is everything for me. I feel honored to have played more than 100 Tests for my country, Virat Kohli said on Star Sports.
India has not won any Test series in South Africa and Kohli and Sharma are looking to end the losing streak.
