T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule: The ICC has released the schedule for the T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in June this year on Friday (January 5). In the upcoming T20 World Cup, the match between India and Pakistan will be played on June 9. A total of 20 teams will participate in this tournament to be held in the West Indies and the US.
In the schedule of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 released by the International Cricket Council (ICC), India has been placed in Group A along with Pakistan, Ireland, the USA, and Canada.
Co-hosts United States will take on arch-rivals Canada in the opening match of the T20 World Cup 2024, while hosts West Indies will play Papua New Guinea in Guyana on the second day of the group game.
The T20 World Cup will be played from June 1 to June 29. The final match is to be played in Barbados on June 29.
All the group matches of India will be played in the USA. India will begin their campaign in the 2024 T20 World Cup with a match against Ireland in New York on June 5, while India and Pakistan will play a high-voltage match in New York on June 9.
The T20 World Cup 2024 will be held in a new format, featuring 20 teams for the first time. These teams have been divided into four groups of five each, the top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eight stage.
The remaining teams in this phase will be split into two groups of four each. The top two teams from these groups will advance to the semi-finals and the final match of the tournament will be held on June 29.

The T20 World Cup matches will be played at three venues in the USA and a total of 6 venues in the Caribbean. In this tournament lasting 29 days, 10 out of 20 teams will play their first match in the USA.
The blockbuster match between India and Pakistan will be played on June 9 at the New Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island.
41 matches will be played across six different islands in the Caribbean, with the semi-finals taking place in Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana and the final to be played in Barbados on June 29.
