The mini-auction of the Indian Premier League i.e. IPL 2024 was no less than a mega auction for India’s uncapped players. However, Australia’s fast bowlers Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins excelled as capped players. But among the uncapped players, Indian young cricketers earned a lot of money. Batsman Sameer Rizvi was the most expensive seller in the list of uncapped Indian players. Chennai Super Kings i.e. CSK bought him for Rs 8 crore 40 lakh.
The most expensive player in IPL Auction 2024 was Mitchell Starc. He was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 24 crore 75 lakh. Pat Cummins was at number two. He was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 20.5 crore. Harshal Patel got the highest amount among Indian players in this auction. Punjab Kings bought him for Rs 11 crore 75 lakh. Sameer Rizvi won the list of uncapped players, he got 8.40 crores.
After Sameer Rizvi, names of players like Shahrukh Khan, Kumar Kushagra, Shubham Dubey, and Yash Dayal are included in the list of top 10 uncapped Indian players. These are the five players who got Rs 5 or more crores in this auction. Even Karthik Tyagi is in the last place in the top 10. Except for him, all other players got an amount of Rs 1 crore or more. While Karthik Tyagi was bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs 60 lakh.
