WPL Auction 2024 Live Telecast: The auction of the second season of the Women’s Premier League i.e. WPL is going to be held in Mumbai on Saturday, December 9. This time a total of 165 players will be bid in the auction which will include 104 Indian and 61 foreign players. Out of these 61 foreign players, 15 will be players from associate nations. WPL 2024 is likely to start in February-March next year, although the official dates have not been announced yet. BCCI will also announce this soon after the auction.
The five teams participating in the auction – Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Giants, UP Warriors and Royal Challengers Bangalore – have a total of 30 slots vacant, of which 9 slots belong to foreign players. Now it remains to be seen which 30 players out of these 165 players will shine.
