There has been a big reaction regarding the veteran fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah of the Indian Cricket Team. World Cup winner bowler Sreesanth believes that the absence of Jasprit Bumrah in the final match of the World Test Championship (WTC Final) will be missed by the Indian team a lot. According to Sreesanth, Team India would miss Bumrah a lot in this crucial final match.

Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out of IPL 2023 season due to a back injury. This fast bowler is away from cricket from September 2022 itself. Bumrah also missed the Asia Cup, T20 World Cup and the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. Bumrah had surgery in Christchurch and for this reason, he was out of the field for a long time.

Jasprit Bumrah could have made a lot of impact at The Oval – Sreesanth

According to Sreesanth, Jasprit Bumrah could have made a lot of impact here considering the kind of conditions in England. During a conversation on Star Sports, he said, “Definitely the absence of Bumrah will cost Team India in the final of the World Test Championship. Because here the conditions are helpful for fast bowlers and Bumrah is such a bowler who bowls very well not only with the new ball but with every single ball. His Yorkers are very accurate.

I have played at The Oval and it is very important to bring variety here. That’s why Bumrah was the X-factor but now someone else has to fill the void.”

We would to tell you that in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian team has the option of Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami. Both are excellent fast bowlers. Apart from this, Umesh Yadav and Shardul Thakur are also an option. Team India would like Bumrah to return to the field after getting fit as soon as possible.
