AUS vs PAK: Shan Masood spoke openly about Babar Azam's bad form
AUS vs PAK: Pakistan's Test captain Shan Masood has stated that he is not worried at all about the form of Babar Azam. Shan believes that Babar is a very important batsman for the Pakistan cricket team and he would make a comeback.

AUS vs PAK: The Pakistan cricket team is on an Australia tour for a three-match test series. The third and last Test match of the series is to be played from January 3 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Pakistan has already lost the series by losing the first two Test matches, but at least they will try to break the long-running streak of Test defeats in Australia by winning the Sydney Test match.

Pakistan has been able to win only four test matches in Australia till now. The last time Pakistan defeated Australia in a Test match in Australia was in 1995. Since then, Pakistan has lost 16 consecutive test matches in Australia. An interesting fact is that the last test match which Pakistan won in 1995 was played at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Former captain Babar Azam has also disappointed a lot with his flop batting performances in the first two matches of this three-match Test series. However, Pakistan’s new Test captain Shan Masood defended Babar Azam’s poor form.

He said a day before the Sydney Test, ‘Babar Azam is our very important player. We have no concerns about his performance. His batting approach is very positive and he is spending hours in the nets at the same time, his fitness is also strong. I would like to see Babar Azam playing a big innings in the Sydney Test match.

This is Shan Masood’s first assignment as a Test captain. In the first Test match, Pakistan had to face a shameful defeat by 360 runs, but in the second Test, the margin of defeat was by 79 runs. This shows that Pakistan performed better with both bat and ball in the second test match.

For Pakistan, Babar Azam played innings of 21 and 14 runs in the first test match, while in the second test, he played innings of 1 and 41 runs. Babar’s poor form remains a cause of worry for Pakistan.
