WI vs ENG; 3rd T20I Dream 11 Prediction: West Indies will face England in the third T20I of the ongoing five-match series on Saturday (December 16) at the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada. West Indies have won the first two matches of the series and would like to win this match to take an unassailable lead in the series. Both the teams have been mirror images of each other so far even in different playing conditions. England had their moments both times, But they had to face defeat at the end of the first innings.
In the opening game, the English team had a good chance to reach a score of more than 185-190 and had the platform, But despite the fast starts of Phil Salt and Jos Buttler, the team failed. Ultimately even the total of 171 was not enough against the Caribbean team as West Indies achieved it with 11 balls to spare.
In the second T20 match, England won the toss and elected to bowl. In the second game, the visiting team England bowled brilliantly in the first 15 overs with the help of Rehan Ahmed and Adil Rashid. But Sam Curran’s 30-run overturned the tables dramatically And West Indies easily crossed the 175-run mark,
Whereas at one time even 160 runs seemed far away. West Indies did not have a good start and lost the first four wickets for just 54 runs.
But after that, Brandon King and Rovman Powell added 80 runs for the fifth wicket and helped the team out of trouble. King remained unbeaten after scoring 82 runs on 52 balls. West Indies scored 176 runs at the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Adil Rashid and Tymal Mills took two wickets each from England. Whereas Chris Woakes, Sam Curran and Rehan Ahmed took one wicket each.
England lost the first wicket for just nine runs in the form of Jos Buttler, who scored just five runs from seven balls. The batsmen who followed performed well and England crossed the 100-run mark in the 14th over. However, no batsman was able to convert a good start into a big innings. Sam Curran was sent up the batting order and batted at the fourth position for the first time in his T20I career. He scored 50 runs in 32 balls.
England could score only 166 runs at the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 10 runs.
Discrepancies are visible in all departments from England onwards. West Indies, on the other hand, have made good use of their familiar home conditions and the return of Andre Russell has deepened the power factor of their line-up.
There has been a huge difference in ammunition between the two sides – England has hit 14 sixes in the two matches while West Indies have almost doubled it with 27 sixes!

WI vs ENG: Pitch Report of the National Stadium, Grenada
This match will be held on the pitch of National Cricket Stadium Grenada, St. George which is generally favorable for the batsmen. Due to the batting friendliness of the pitch, bowlers find it difficult to perform here as this pitch does not provide them much support. Hence, the team batting first should aim to score more than 180 runs to challenge the opposition team during the run chase.
