Lokendra Chahar, father of Team India’s fast bowler Deepak Chahar, is not feeling well these days.
Lokendra was admitted to Aligarh Hospital after a brain stroke. He is undergoing treatment at Mitraj Hospital located on Ramghat Road in the city for three days. Deepak did not play in the fifth T20 against Australia on Sunday due to this medical emergency. Deepak has given a big update on his father’s health.
He says that his father’s health is getting better than before.
While talking to the media on Tuesday, Deepak said that his father’s health is gradually improving. I will remain with him and serve him until he is completely cured.
Let us tell you that last week BCCI announced the Indian squad for the South Africa tour, of which Deepak is also a part. When Deepak was asked about this tour, he said that his father was the most important to him.
The fast bowler said that my father is the most important to me. Therefore, I have spoken to the selector and Rahul sir and informed them about the entire status quo. He said that the upcoming South Africa tour will also depend on my father’s health.
I will make further strategies only after there is a significant improvement in my father’s health. Father has received better treatment at Mishra Hospital in Aligarh due to which his health is improving.
It is noteworthy that Deepak is included in the T20 and ODI teams for the South Africa tour. The three-match T20 series will begin on December 10, while the ODI series will begin on December 17.
Deepak got a chance to play only one match in the Australia series. He had dismissed two Kangaroos players by giving away 44 runs in the T20 match held in Raipur.
