IND vs AUS: Shreyas Iyer's bat did not work even in the World Cup final. Earlier, he had failed against Australia in the league stage. He could not even open an account.

With Rohit out, Team India’s score was 76 runs for 2 wickets in 9.4 overs. In the very next over, Shreyas Iyer was sent to the pavilion by Pat Cummins and Josh Inglis. Team India went on the back foot due to the fall of two wickets one after the other. The first wicket fell in the form of Shubman Gill. Mitchell Starc sent him to the pavilion. Gill scored 4 runs on 7 balls.
