Punjab Police has made strict security arrangements regarding this match. Punjab Police ADGP Law and Order Arpit Shukla said that four-tier security arrangements have been made for the match.
He further said that IG Ropar has been made the overall security in charge of this match. About 3 thousand policemen will be deployed for security during the match, along with 15 anti-riot teams will also be deployed in the city. Many car parking slots have been created in Mohali for people coming from outside. Mohali Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for the people of the city.
He said that given the match, SSP Mohali and SSP Ropar have also been put on duty. One officer will look after the security of the match, the stadium, and its surroundings, the other will strengthen the security of the outer city of the stadium. From morning till night, we will ensure that the match goes smoothly and there is no problem. Keeping in mind the safety and comfort of the spectators, 8 parking slots have been created at different places.
