IND vs SA Test Series: There is a possibility of significant changes in the playing eleven of Team India for the second Test match to be played in Cape Town from January 3 and these two players may be released.

IND vs SA Test Series: Ind vs SA test series: Team India had to face defeat in the series opener against South Africa by an innings and 32 runs. The test match played between the two countries ended in just three days in Centurion. The failure of the players was the reason for the team’s defeat. While the batsmen scored fewer runs, the bowlers also failed to take wickets. The last match of this series will now be played in Cape Town from 3 January.

Team India will now be eyeing a comeback and for this, some changes are possible in the Indian team.
Prasidh Krishna and spinner R Ashwin, who was included in the playing eleven of the first Test match, could not prove to be effective, hence there is a possibility that they may not get a chance in the next match and other players in the team may get a chance in their place.

Jadeja to replace Ashwin

Ravindra Jadeja could not play in the playing 11 of the first match due to some back problem. At present, he has recovered and is ready to return in the second test match. In such a situation, seeing Ashwin’s performance, Jadeja may get a chance in his place.

There is not much difference in bowling between Jadeja and Ashwin but in overseas conditions, Jadeja knows how to bat better than Ashwin. Looking at this specialty of his, it can be said that Ashwin may be out of the second test.

Mukesh Kumar may get a chance in place of Prasidh Krishna

Prasidh Krishna made his debut in the first test match but his debut test was nothing and he proved to be very expensive. Although he took 5 wickets while playing a four-day match against South Africa A just before the first Test match, but could not do anything special in the international debut match.

Krishna’s bowling spell in the first Test match was very poor and he gave 93 runs in 20 overs at an economy of 4.65. Due to this poor bowling, many cricket experts raised questions on him that he is not yet ready for Test cricket. These reasons make it sure that his place does not seem to be there in the second test match.

Shardul Thakur may get another chance due to his batting

If anyone bowled the worst in the first Test of South Africa vs India, it was Shardul Thakur. Shardul Thakur bowled 19 overs, giving away 101 runs at an economy of 5.31. There is no doubt that Shardul’s bowling is very bad but he can do better in batting.

In the first test, when the order was spread, Shardul provided some support by playing an innings of 24 runs. Due to his batting ability, he may be able to retain his place in the playing eleven.

India has lost the first test match and now its effort will be to win the second match and at least try to end the series on a draw. This time, India had a chance to win the Test series in South Africa after 31 years, but after the defeat in the first match, this opportunity has now gone out of their hands.
