Ishan Kishan surpassed Sachin Tendulkar by scoring 55 against the West Indies. As an opener for India, he came first in terms of scoring the most runs in the first five innings of ODIs. Ishan has scored 348 runs in the first five innings as an opener in ODIs. While Sachin played his maiden ODI for India in 1994, he scored 321 runs in the first five innings.
