As you might be aware Gautam Gambhir was with Lucknow Super Giants in the last two editions of the Indian Premier League but today he resigned from his role.
Soon after, Kolkata Knight Riders appointed Gautam Gambhir as their mentor for the upcoming season.
Gautam Gambhir has participated in many matches for Kolkata Knight Riders from 2011 to 2017 and under his captaincy the team won the trophy for the 2012 and 2014 seasons.
