Team India is currently busy playing in the Asia Cup 2023. Meanwhile, the ICC has released the latest ODI rankings. In this, two Indian batsmen have taken a long jump. Pakistan captain Babar Azam remains at number 1 in the rankings. Whereas Indian batsman Shubman Gill has achieved the ranking of number-3. Which is the highest of any Indian batsman.
The tremendous jump in his ranking has come after his brilliant batting against Nepal in the Asia Cup 2023. Whereas Virat Kohli occupies the 10th ranking. Gill played an unbeaten inning of 67 runs in 62 balls. Rohit Sharma had scored an unbeaten 74 runs, with the help of which India won easily by 10 wickets.
Apart from this, wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan has also made a huge leap. He has joined the top 25.
Kishan played an inning of 82 runs in the match against Pakistan. After this brilliant innings, he has reached the 24th position.
Mohammed Siraj is in 8th place in the ODI bowling rankings
Talking about bowling rankings, Josh Hazlewood remains the number one. Mohammad Siraj is the only Indian bowler who is included in the top 10. He is in 8th position with 652 ratings. Shaheen Afridi, who took four wickets against India in the Asia Cup, has reached the fifth position.
Hardik Pandya the only Indian in the top 20 all-rounders
Hardik Pandya is the only Indian cricketer in the top 20 in the list of ODI all-rounders. He is in the tenth position with 220 rating points. Shakib Al Hasan remains at the first position in the list of ODI all-rounders. Mohammad Nabi, who played explosive innings against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup, is second and Rashid Khan is at number four. Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe is at number three. Assad Vala of Papua New Guinea is at number five. Shakib has 372, Nabi 302, Sikandar Raza 287, Rashid Khan 259, and Asad Wala 248 rating points.
